Azure Site Recovery Services From Bitscape

Since the inception of Cloud computing into the world of technology, recovery of data has become snappier than ever before. Recovery of data has gone one step ahead in the name of ‘Azure’.

Azure Site Recovery Service

Azure provides services that allow the users to create, organize and deploy the application on a huge network using the tools and techniques. It also renders a range of solutions like,

  • Increased Productivity by featuring faster networking with loads of end-to-end services.
  • Build and implement apps in a Hybrid

One of the most important services that Microsoft Azure provides is the Azure Site Consulting services. It lets the users enable failover for on-premises Hyper-Virtual machines. This Hyper-Virtual Machine manager allows the users to reproduce the content of the VMs from the data centers to Azure and thus coordinate and take control over the workload over a Cloud computing environment.

The Azure Recovery Services helps in recovering in two ways :

  1. Site Recovery services : It contributes to the business’ BCDR strategy (Business continuity and disaster recovery) by ensuring business continuity as a part of disaster management. As mentioned earlier, when there is a disruption in the primary site, the data gets ‘failed over’ to a secondary location and access the data, apps from the secondary location. After the primary location is set back, it could fail back again.
  2. Backup Service : In order to recover the data, a backup service is obviously essential. So here the Azure Backup service hands out a secondary storage to maintain the data secured and recoverable anytime.

The Recovery service can maintain the backed up data safe for,

  • Azure Virtual Machine between Azure regions.
  • On-premises Virtual Machines, Azure Stack VMs, and physical servers.
  • In all the supported regions for site recovery.
  • In all the systems that support Azure.

Features of Azure Site Recovery services :

The Azure Recovery Services carries a number of recovery – specific features that aids business running all the time.

  1. An intelligible solution :

The site recovery allows the business to build up, manage replication, failover, failback from the single Azure region in the portal.

  1. A replica of the Virtual Machine

The secured recovery services let a business transfer data from primary to secondary machines.

  1. On-premises Virtual Machines

These machines ensure less complex maintenance of secondary data centers thus paving the way towards low-cost recovery solution.

  1. Reproduction of Workload

The workload can be reproduced to any of the supported Azure VMs, on-premises Hyper-V and VMware VMs, and Windows/Linux physical servers.

  1. Flexibility

When a failover occurs, Azure machines are established based on the replicated site data. Thus the resilience that they share allows the users to replicate without affecting application data. And the stored data is also highly resilient.

  1. RTO and RPO

The Recovery Time Objectives and the Recovery Point Objectives are limited to organizational objectives. It takes just 30-second frequency to replicate the data

  1. Consistency over failover

There are zero chances of failovers and the consistency of the data would be great throughout.

  1. Disruption-free testing

Disaster recovery drills can be conducted irrespective of the ongoing replication.

  1. Business customization of Recovery plans

The plans can be customized according to the needs of the business. The group machines together in a recovery plan, and optionally add scripts and manual actions.

  1. Integration

The Azure services provide the following integration with that of site recovery,

  • BCDR Integration
  • Azure Automation
  • Network Integration

Thus, if a business has a recovery system like the Azure, there wouldn’t be any challenges during disaster time. And if at all a challenge occurs, Azure would be of great help while facing the challenges.

Happy ‘Azuring’!

Your Next Cloud Partner – Azure Site Recovery Services

Cloud technology is sprouting at fast-moving speed, as evidenced by the funds behind the industry. The worldwide spending on cloud services is expected to grow and reach $141 Billion in 2019. Microsoft Azure is yet another big player in the cloud market. It has a greater market share for its stronger offerings as compared to its competitors. Even many Microsoft Azure consulting services vendors have made their footfall in the industry noticing the ever-growing cloud industry. Many Azure site recovery services have started to emerge to help you when things go wrong. Cloud computing has many advantages, like:

1) Reduced Cost.
2) Enhanced Speed.
3) Global Scalability.
4) ProgressiveProductivity.
5) BoostedPerformance.
6) Strengthened Security.

With the help of Azure, one can develop new, test and build new applications and services. Data storage, backup and recovery, is efficient. Embedding intelligence is easier. Software, audio and video can be delivered on demand.

As an organization needs to embrace a business continuity and disaster recovery strategy to keep its data safe, and its apps and workloads always up and in running state. Azure Recovery Services can subsidize your disaster recovery strategy.

  • Site Recovery Services

This ensures companies to keep their applications running during outages. Site Recovery redoes workloads running on physical and virtual machines (VMs) from a primary site to a secondary location. When an outage befalls at your main site, you fail over to subordinate location, and access applications from there. After the main location is up again, you can fail back to it.

  • Backup services

The backup service from Windows Azure keeps your data protected and recoverable by backing it up to Azure.

Azure site recovery is the present day approach to move ahead from the age-old approach of leveraging its market supremacy to bound everyone to use other outdated tools. Microsoft has made its large thrust into the cloud market. Earlier Azure site recovery was termed as Hyper-V Recovery Manager. These new capabilities will enable customers to replicate Virtual Machines from their data hubs directly to Azure and recover workloads in a cloud computing environment.

Site Recovery provides a wide range of features:

  • The simplified solution for BCDR.
  • Effective VM replication.
  • OrchestrateData Resilience.
  • Testing without any disruption.
  • Network Integration services for efficient network switchovers.
  • Production ready Azure Automation services.

Azure site recovery services can assist you in the wide category of services starting from infrastructure and cloud migration. Their dedicated experts can help you to formulate the perfect strategy for your next cloud venture targeting to provide audio, video and software services on-demand. They primarily provide the following services:

  • Cloud load Assessment.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Lift and Shift.
  • SQL Azure Consulting.
  • Cloud Technical Support.
